Emily is a friendly and compassionate registered nurse with over a decade of experience in mental health nursing.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa, she has built an impressive career focused on supporting youth and their mental well-being.

At Thrive, Emily plays a multifaceted role. She collaborates with psychiatrists while providing mental health nursing care, assists

patients in navigating team-based care as a Care Concierge, and co-facilitates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) groups.

Additionally, she provides individual psychotherapy as a nurse psychotherapist, working with both youth and adults.

Known for her ability to connect easily with patients, Emily fosters a supportive and collaborative environment to help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals.

Emily takes a practical, hands-on approach to her work, equipping clients with tools and strategies to regulate their nervous system and find balance in their lives. She combines her extensive clinical expertise with a holistic approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Drawing on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emily is committed to providing personalized care.
